Lessons Saturday (1/11) are still planing on going out.

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Due to the forecasted severe weather and unsafe road conditions, all Garland ISD schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10, 2025.

Additionally, after-school activities scheduled for January 9 and 10 are canceled. Events may be rescheduled to Saturday, January 11, weather permitting. Coaches and sponsors will provide participants with any additional updates.

We will work diligently to ensure a smooth reopening on Monday, January 13, 2025.

The City of Rowlett is still under a Flash Flood Warning until 9:00 am. Multiple roadways across the city are impacted due to flooding and downed trees. Please avoid any unnecessary travel!
