Today we want to celebrate and honor the remarkable careers of our staff members who have not only committed their lives to education, but to Herfurth. After 30 years in education and 25 at Herfurth our amazing counselor Mrs. Lawrence. She has dedicated her career to creating a welcoming environment where so many students feel encouraged and cared for. Her kindness and compassion has made a lasting impact on our school.
Mr. Jaime our lead custodian has been Herfurth for 20 years and many of those included early mornings and late nights. He always went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met. Mr. Jaime always had a smile on his face and great music playing from his pocket. He has kept everything in our school running smoothly, sometimes behind the scenes.
Thank you both for your hard work and years of dedication to our students, staff and Herfurth families. Wishing you both the best as you step into your well-deserved retirement!
Finally, we want to share that our Herfurth family collected over 500 boxes of cereal in honor of Mrs. Lisa! Ms. Lisa faithfully served the Herfurth community for 23 years as our cafe manager, and her kindness, warmth, and dedication touched the lives of countless students and staff at our school. We thank you for helping us honor Ms. Lisa’s memory and for supporting our Herfurth community in such a meaningful way.
