The Town of Rowland remembers former Commissioner A. Jean Love, who transitioned July 2, 2026. Commissioner Love was dedicated to our community, previously serving as Mayor Pro Tem and board member for the Rowland Alcoholic & Beverage Commission for many years.

During our next public meeting, we will honor and commemorate the life and legacy of Commissioner Love. Please join us Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 6:30pm. To comfortably accommodate a larger anticipated audience, this meeting will be held at the Rowland Historic Train Depot - located at 101 W Main St., Rowland, NC.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Love/McCall family during this time.

Robeson County Church and Community Center will provide free medical screening tomorrow (Thursday), July 9, 2026 from 9:00am-11:30am.

This will take place during the monthly food donation also provided by Robeson County Church and Community Center!

We have partnered with UnitedHealthcare and Robeson Healthcare Corporation to bring FREE health screenings to our food distribution in Rowland this Thursday.

This service is limited to Rowland residents because we will be hosting more of these events throughout the county!
