This week, Ms. Yvette celebrated 8 years at Emerson Academy! 💛 Here are 8 things we love about her:

❤️ She makes every child feel loved and at home.
👑 She’s an inclusion queen who handles anything with ease.
🙌 She’s always down for whatever, she’s been the baby teacher, the chef, pre-k teacher, bus driver, and is locked in as the Toddler Wrangler!! 🙌
🤣 Her personality keeps everyone smiling…
🚽 She’s a potty-training expert!
🧠 She makes learning fun with creative, hands-on activities.
🧸 She cares deeply about people!
😂 She keeps us all humble! IYKYK!

We’re squeezing in fine motor skills, sensory fun, yummy activities, creative play, and even some whole-body apple adventures! 🍎🙌🏼🎨

At Emerson Academy, we believe social-emotional development lays the foundation for everything else. 💛

Our goal is to help children build pro-social skills like communicating, connecting with others, expressing emotions, taking turns, problem-solving, and showing kindness—skills they’ll carry with them as they grow and enter school.

And the best part? We get to teach all of these important skills through play, connection, laughter, and FUN! 🧸✨
