We are excited to see Esperanza Hall nearing completion and look forward to welcoming students into this beautiful new learning space! Even more exciting, Dr. Lambert will be teaching Medical Terminology (HIM 2360.R01) in Esperanza Hall this fall! 📚

Medical Terminology is an excellent introduction to the healthcare field and a great starting point for students interested in Health Information Management. The course helps students build a strong understanding of healthcare language while providing insight into the concepts and terminology used throughout the HIM profession! 🐾

What an incredible time at the 2026 TxHIMA Annual Conference in Georgetown, Texas! 🎉

It was wonderful to connect with health information professionals from across the state and celebrate the achievements of our HIIM community. We loved seeing current faculty, staff, and students representing Texas State University, and it was especially rewarding to reconnect with many of our outstanding alumni.

A special congratulations to Professor Jackie Moczygemba on being recognized as the TxHIMA Educator of the Year! 🏆 We are also proud to celebrate one of our MHIM students, Aracely, who was awarded a student scholarship. 👏

Thank you to TxHIMA for hosting another fantastic conference filled with learning, networking, and inspiration. We are proud to be part of such a strong and supportive HIM community!🐾
