Thanks to a great parent volunteer and the inspiration of we finally have our book hospital up and running. As of right now it has 142 patients. I hope to decrease that number over the coming weeks. Dog Man seems to be our biggest client right now.

Our PreK friends are working on reading 100 books this year. They write their name on a slip of paper in their library book each time they read one, and get a new book each day after they finish. They also keep a reading log over the holiday breaks so that they can keep reading. I love seeing all of the books they read each week. Keep up the great work PreK families!

Nothing is as fun as counting change for book fair with our students. There’s always a surprise! Bring in your change to shop through Friday! Thanks to everyone that lent us a hand or helped us out by sending kids to buy their next favorite read.

We are entering the scary time of the year where all of our Bluebonnet books are checked out! 3rd-5th are being introduced to the program during library over the next 2 weeks and it’s inspiring lots of readers.
