Gratitude overflowing!

To every family who shared, pledged, cheered, and showed up for
our students: this would not have been the same without you.
Because of this community, we raised funds for Support Student
Experiences and Classroom Needs and gave every student at
Gattis Elementary two unforgettable weeks.
Our students practiced being Steady. They became Uplifters. They
found their Purpose. They went the Extra Mile. They stayed Reliable.
And they proved they& #39;ve had a hero inside them this whole time.

¡Nuestra gratitud es inmensa!
A todas las familias que compartieron, realizaron aportaciones, nos
animaron y apoyaron a nuestros estudiantes: ¡gracias de todo
corazón! Nada de esto habría sido posible sin ustedes. Gracias al
compromiso de esta comunidad, logramos recaudar fondos para
Apoye las experiencias de los estudiantes y las necesidades del
aula y brindar a cada estudiante de Gattis Elementary dos
semanas verdaderamente inolvidables.

Nuestros estudiantes aprendieron a ser Constantes, se convirtieron
en Inspiradores, descubrieron su Propósito, dieron la Milla Extra,
demostraron ser Confiables y, sobre todo, comprobaron que el
héroe que llevaban dentro siempre estuvo ahí.

Tomorrow is the big day! 🏃‍♀️🏃
Our .atx Fun Run is tomorrow, and tonight is the
last chance to get pledges in before the event.
Tonight’s hero checklist: ✅ Get those final pledges in ✅ Lay out comfy
shoes ✅ Plan a good breakfast and plenty of water ✅ Get a great
night’s sleep ✅ Tell your student how proud you are of them
Two weeks of superpowers. Tomorrow, our students put them all into
action. 🦸🏻‍♂️🦸🏽‍♀️


¡Mañana es el gran día! 🏃‍♀️🏃
¡Nuestro Carrera recreativa de .atx es mañana,
y esta noche es la última oportunidad para registrar las
aportaciones antes del evento!
Lista de preparación para los héroes de esta noche:
✅ Realizar las últimas aportaciones. ✅ Dejar listos unos zapatos
cómodos. ✅ Preparar un buen desayuno y suficiente agua. ✅ Dormir
bien para recargar energías. ✅ Decirle a tu estudiante lo
orgulloso(a) que estás de él o ella.
Dos semanas desarrollando superpoderes. Mañana, nuestros

🐊 We’re getting closer to our APEX goal, Gators! 🎉
⭐ TONIGHT’S CHALLENGE: Students can earn TWO prizes from their class poster tonight! Don’t forget to log in, share your student’s page, and help them collect pledges!
Every donation helps us provide so much for our students, including field trips, classroom supplies, school assemblies, Kona Ice, Carnival, Family Dance, STEAM Night, and more! 🧡💙

Today's superpower: Reliable. 🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏻‍♂️

Our students learned that being Reliable means living by a simple
rule: "I do what I say I"ll do, I show up when others need me, and I
follow through even when it's not easy." Reliable heroes tell the
truth, do their best, and stay true to what's right, not just what's
popular. They prove their character through their actions, day after
day.

One of our favorite lines from today's lesson: "Pressure makes
diamonds." Taking on hard challenges head-on and solving
problems makes you come out stronger and brighter on the other
side.

Their leadership challenge today is a special one: write a note to
their principal or give them a high five in the hallway and thank
them for being a reliable leader at our school. ✏️🐊


¡El superpoder de hoy: Confiable! 🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏻‍♂️
Hoy nuestros estudiantes aprendieron que ser Confiable significa
vivir de acuerdo con una regla sencilla: "Hago lo que digo que haré,
estoy presente cuando los demás me necesitan y cumplo mis
compromisos, incluso cuando no es fácil." Los héroes confiables
dicen la verdad, dan lo mejor de sí y hacen lo correcto, no solo lo
que es popular. Demuestran su carácter a través de sus acciones,
día tras día.

Una de nuestras frases favoritas de la lección de hoy fue: "La
presión crea diamantes." Afrontar los desafíos difíciles y buscar
soluciones nos hace más fuertes y nos ayuda a crecer.

El reto de liderazgo de hoy es muy especial: escribir una nota de
agradecimiento a su director(a) o darle un saludo en el pasillo y
agradecerle por ser un líder confiable para nuestra escuela. ✏️🐊

One of the things we love most about the Apex program: our
students get to use their superpowers to help other kids, too. ❤️
This year, we're part of the Apex Giveback Program withatx. For every student who reaches $10/unit in
pledges, Apex donates to St. Jude on their behalf to support kids
and families who need it most.
Heroes helping heroes. That's what this is all about. 💚



Una de las cosas que más nos gusta del programa Apex es que
nuestros estudiantes pueden usar sus superpoderes para ayudar
también a otros niños. ❤️
Este año participamos en el Programa Apex Giveback junto conatx. Por cada estudiante que alcance $10 por
obstacle en aportaciones, Apex realizará una donación a St. Jude
en su nombre para apoyar a los niños y familias que más lo
necesitan.
Héroes ayudando a héroes. De eso se trata esta gran misión. 💚💚

🐊 We’re more than halfway to our goal, Gators! 🎉
If you haven’t shared your student’s APEX fundraiser yet, now is the time! We only have a few more days to go! 🏃‍♀️💨
Remember, this fundraiser directly benefits our students AND classrooms. Each teacher gets to spend 10% of what their class earns on whatever they choose for their classroom! 💙🧡
The PTA also uses these funds to help provide field trips, guest speakers, Carnival, Family Dance, STEAM Night, and so much more!
Every share and every donation gets us closer to our $25,000 goal! Thank you for supporting our Gators! 🐊🧡💙

New superpower unlocked: Extra Mile.

Today our students learned that Super Heroes don’t do the bare minimum. Going the Extra Mile means helping someone clean up even when you didn’t make the mess. Giving your best effort even
when you’re tired. Noticing a classmate sitting alone and inviting them to join you. Heroes don’t say, “it’s not my problem.” They say “how can I help?”
The big takeaway: the extra mile is where most people stop, but it’s where leaders show up.

Their leadership challenge: find one moment today to go the extra mile, at school or at home. Help someone, work harder, or do something kind that you didn’t have to do.


¡Nuevo superpoder desbloqueado: Dar la Milla Extra!
Hoy nuestros estudiantes aprendieron que los superhéroes no
hacen solo lo mínimo indispensable. Dar la Milla Extra significa
ayudar a limpiar aunque no hayas hecho el desorden, dar lo mejor
de ti incluso cuando estás cansado o invitar a un compañero que
está solo a unirse al grupo. Los héroes no dicen: “Ese no es mi
problema”. En cambio, preguntan: “¿Cómo puedo ayudar?”;
La gran enseñanza de hoy fue que la milla extra es el lugar donde
muchos se detienen, pero donde los verdaderos líderes deciden
avanzar.
Su reto de liderazgo es encontrar hoy una oportunidad para dar la
milla extra, ya sea en la escuela o en casa. Ayuda a alguien,
esfuérzate un poco más o realiza un acto de bondad, incluso si
nadie te lo pidió.
