Same dress.

Six months apart.

As a coach, people sometimes assume that once you've reached a certain level of fitness, the work is done. The reality is that fitness is a lifelong journey of adjustments, recommitment, and continuous improvement.

The photo on the left was six months ago.

The photo on the right was 2 weeks ago.

Not because I discovered some secret formula, but because I stayed committed to the fundamentals:

βœ”οΈ Consistent nutrition
βœ”οΈ Patience with the process
βœ”οΈ Determination when motivation wasn't there

Being fit over 40 doesn't have to be complicated.

It requires a plan.
It requires consistency.
It requires trusting the process long enough to see the results.

Over the last six months, I've continued to focus on improving body composition, building strength, protecting my longevity, and becoming the strongest version of myselfβ€”not just for today, but for the decades ahead.

Progress doesn't always mean starting over. Sometimes it means continuing to show up, refining the process, and proving to yourself that you're capable of more.

June is here, and I'm excited to see what's possible over the next 30 days.

3 things you've been told about fitness after 40 that are just… wrong. 🚫

❌ "Cardio is the best way to lose weight" Muscle loss is killing your metabolism. Cardio without strength makes it worse.

❌ "Eat less as you get older" You need MORE protein after 40, not less. Under-eating destroys muscle and slows everything down.

❌ "If you're not sore, you didn't work hard enough" Soreness = damage, not progress. Recovery IS the work after 40.

Unpopular opinion:

Motivation is overrated. πŸ”₯

Every person I've worked with who WAITED to feel motivated before starting β€” waited a very long time.

The people who built real results after 40 didn't feel motivated first. They built a SYSTEM first. Motivation followed.

The restart cycle isn't a discipline problem. It's a design problem.
