Celebrating Excellence in Education!

At Stepping Stone School, our commitment to excellence continues year after year through our dedication to professional growth, continuing education, and lifelong learning.

Our 34th Annual Conference for educators and administrators is a meaningful tradition and an important part of our ongoing commitment to providing the very best educational experiences for the children and families we serve.

This year’s conference was especially inspiring, featuring an extraordinary group of speakers who shared their knowledge, vision, and expertise:

Rhonda Paver, MA — Owner & Founder of Stepping Stone School

Daniel Turner — Architect, B.E.D., Bachelor of Environmental Design

Christopher J. Lemons, Ph.D. — Professor of Education, Graduate School of Education at Stanford University and world-renowned education expert

We are incredibly grateful for the wisdom, inspiration, and fresh perspectives shared throughout this special day. Our educators and administrators left energized, inspired, and ready to continue growing in their profession.

Because at Stepping Stone School, excellence is not simply a goal, it’s an ongoing commitment.

STREAM Learning in Action: Diamond Club Explores Moon Sand!

This week, Diamond Club children at Stepping Stone School Cat Hollow engaged in a hands-on moon sand activity that brought our STREAM curriculum to life.

As children scooped, molded, and combined ingredients, they were building foundational skills across multiple domains:
Science — Observing how texture and consistency change as materials are combined
Math — Measuring and comparing quantities
Art — Sculpting and creating original designs
Sensory Development — Exploring a new material through touch and hands-on discovery

Activities like this reflect our commitment to curiosity-driven, hands-on learning that supports whole-child development. At Stepping Stone School, every day brings new opportunities for discovery.

🎉 Celebrating 30 Years at Stepping Stone School Cat Hollow! 🎉

In 1996, Stepping Stone School built its second campus from the ground up, on O'Connor Drive in Round Rock! Back then, there weren't any other buildings in the area. Three decades later, we're still proud to serve families in the Cat Hollow community.

And of course, no Cat Hollow celebration would be complete without a shoutout to our beloved dinosaur display, the feature that's captured children's imaginations for decades! 🦕 Generations of children have loved it, and it remains one of the most iconic parts of our campus.

Thank you to all the families who have been part of our story. Here's to 30 years, and many more adventures ahead!
