¡Hola, little learners! 🌟 Cornerstone Preschool is excited to introduce our NEW Spanish Dual Language Program, beginning Tuesday, September 8!

Designed for children ages 3 through young 5s preparing for kindergarten, this program combines Spanish-language immersion with the YMCA Preschool and Frog Street curriculums to support social, emotional and cognitive development.

Last week, Ms. Lisa’s class enjoyed a sweet sensory activity with flowers, ice, and colorful pom-poms! 🌸🧊

With close supervision, our littlest learners explored different textures, temperatures, and colors while strengthening their curiosity and early sensory development. Every touch, look, and little reaction is part of learning and growing! 💛

Today, we're celebrating the incredible lifeguards across the YMCA of Central Texas who do so much more than watch the water.

They create safe spaces for families, teach life-saving swim skills, respond in moments that matter, build confidence in new swimmers, and help make every visit to the pool a great one.

Whether they're leading swim lessons, keeping watch from the stand, or greeting families with a smile, our lifeguards make a difference every single day.

Foam, bubbles and lots of giggles! 🫧☀️ Our preschool kiddos enjoyed some late-morning outdoor fun at their foam party, where they laughed, played and danced through clouds of bubbles. It was the perfect way to cool off, enjoy the sunshine and make sweet summer memories with their friends! 💙

🌿🎭 Nature turned into art today! Our little explorers collected leaves, sticks, and other outdoor treasures to create their own nature masks. As they cut, glued, and designed, they practiced fine motor skills, creativity, problem-solving, and learned more about the world around them—all while having fun outdoors!

Art and play go hand in hand! 🎨🚗

As part of our Things That Go! theme, our little learners used cars, trucks and other creative tools to explore painting in a whole new way.

Along the way, they strengthened fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, confidence and self-expression—all while making colorful memories through play!
