The Honor Band students had a FANTASTIC time today working with composer Nathan Hervey! We can't wait for everyone to hear Dancing in the Sun at our performance at The Midwest Clinic. We're bringing the party to Chicago with this piece!

Recently, some of our Walsh Band trombonists had the opportunity to learn from international performer and newly appointed professor at the UMKC Conservatory, Dr. Lauren Casey-Clyde.

Dr. Casey-Clyde formerly taught many of these students when she was a part of our Walsh private lesson faculty, so we're so grateful to have had the chance to hold a masterclass one more time before she left the Austin area.

Thank you and good luck, Dr. Casey-Clyde!
