We are authorized in the International Baccalaureate PYP (Primary Years Program), MYP (Middle Years Program), and DP (Diploma Program).

We're so proud of MYP Principal Melissa Reese! On Thursday, she successfully defended her thesis and officially earned her PhD in Education, Leadership, and Organization from Texas Woman’s University!
Dr. Reese embodies the IB Learner Profile Traits of inquirer, knowledgeable, principled, and risk taker as she shows us what being a life long learner is all about!

Three of our new designs came directly from our students! Congratulations to Viktoria, Teni, and Michelle. We loved seeing the creative designs more than a dozen students shared at the end of last year. It was hard to narrow it down to three!
If you miss Back to School Nights, you can purchase these new designs at RockSports Monday-Friday starting August 11.

Volunteers in Partnership has been hard at work all afternoon stocking the Uniform Exchange for Saturday! From 4t to adult sizes, we have it all, for just $2 each!
All proceeds benefit our Teacher Grants. What are Teacher Grants? Twice a year, ViP funds grants of up to $1,000 for our teachers, which purchases classroom items like instruments, microscopes, books, to support professional development, and more!
And a special thank you to ViP for giving Meridian staff members a sneak shopping preview today during set up -- we appreciate you!
Join us Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the MPR (primary building). If you logged 20+ volunteer hours last year, you can shop early at 9:30.

Congratulations to our student athletes on our 2025-2026 Varsity Volleyball Teams! Each student balanced academics and athletics throughout the season, leading to both teams earning the Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association!
They are two of the 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams who maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a
4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale).

New to the Middle Years Program at Meridian (grades 6-10)? Join us in the cafeteria at the Mays building on Wednesday, July 29 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.
You can park in the square student lot just outside the cafe and enter through the cafe doors.
Open to all rising 6th grade families and anyone new to Meridian in grades 7-9. Students and parents/guardians welcome. 🦁
