Chisholm Trail Middle School Band

Thank you all so much for a successful "Everything Day!" We had over 100 families stop by today to kick start the year. We appreciate you taking time out of your Saturday to stand in line and get all "the band things" taken care of.

No worries if you were not able to make it today. We will be available on August 17th during and after Cougar Camp to help do all the band things as well. We are excited for a great year of music making!

Day 3 of Summer Band is in the books! We had a great time rehearsing. We also had some amazing band volunteers stick around and help us prep some brass instruments for the fall!

CTMS Summer Band is just around the corner! We can't wait to see all our returning band members on August 3rd - 6th!

TMEA Honor Band Update:
Yesterday was the Semi-Finals listening in San Antonio. The CTMS Honor Band placed 9th in its semi-final listening and did not advance to the finals held today. Even without advancing, this is one of the highest results the CTMS Bands have ever received in the TMEA Honor Band Competition! We are incredibly proud of all the students effort last year and are excited to make more great music with all of the 26-27 CTMS Bands!

We can't wait to see all of our returning members at Summer Band on August 3rd - 6th!

We are so excited to share that the Chisholm Trail Honor Band has advanced to the State Semifinals today in the TMEA CC Honor Band Contest! This is the furthest Chisholm Trail has ever advanced in the Honor Band competition to our knowledge.

The CTMS Honor Bands recordings will be heard at the State Semi-Final round at the Texas Bandmasters Convention and Clinic in July for a chance to advance to the finals.
