I’m gearing up for a new school year with 30-minute power burst virtual lessons, beginning next week. Email me for more information. I’m also taking new students for the fall, once my current student load is placed into session times. If interested, there’s a form on my website to complete in order to get on the placement list. I currently have two openings for the spring semester in my schedule for short power bursts in learning. We’re noticing that a 30 or 40-minute session hyper focused on a single skill in math or reading through a directed approach in problem solving allows us review and practice time in one subject area. Email me if you’re interested in a spot for your child. I work with students in grades 4-7.

One of my “senior” eighth grade students tried out a creative writing lesson I planned about learning how to craft a concise and vivid review. We had such a good time as she revised the draft for better word choice. That lesson is now part of the creative writing opportunities for students working at seventh and eighth grade levels next year. Check out the variety of options for your child on my website.

Registration is open for the 2024 Virtual Summer Step-Up Camps: Math, Reading, and Creative Writing for students entering grades 4-8 in the fall.
