Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.

🎓 We Have Some New Martial Arts Champs!

​Today was an incredibly proud moment at The Goddard School! Our little ninjas officially took part in their karate graduation, and we couldn't be more impressed by their focus, discipline, and (of course) those powerful kicks! 🥋💥

​A huge thank you and shout out to Empowered Martial Arts for presenting such a fantastic program. As one of our favorite extracurricular programs, you’ve done an amazing job helping our students build confidence and strength right here at our school.
​Seeing those new belts earned today was the highlight of our week! Way to go, everyone! 🏆
