At Shining Snarr Childcare, I fully understand wanting to know how your child is doing when they are not in your care. That is why I use Procare to help keep parents updated about their child! By using Procare, I am able to send updates all throughout the day. Such as photos, videos, how long they nap for, what they have eaten, and so much more! What makes it even better is the app is free to all parents. Providing a safe and fun environment is top priority and I love sharing all of the activities and fun things with the parents throughout the day!

This activity is so fun and only needs things that you probably already have in your home!
What you can add to these fun bottles are endless! You can keep it simple with the colored water and soap, or you can add in things like glitter, little animals, etc.!
Safety Tip: if you use a regular water bottle, make sure you glue the cap on!

Hello there! My name is Ashly Snarr and I am the owner and caregiver at Shining Snarr Childcare. 4 years ago I moved to Austin, TX from Ohio and just recently moved to the Round Rock area.
I started off my career working in the corporate childcare industry as an Assistant Teacher and have now been working with children for over 10 years. During this time, I obtained my Child Development Associate certification specializing in infants and toddlers. I eventually ended my corporate childcare journey as an Assistant Director and pursued a full-time nanny position. I loved being able to create such a wonderful relationship with the children. It was always my end goal to one day open my own childcare center and the stars finally aligned to allow me to do so out of my own home. Working with the littlest minds is truly a passion of mine and I am looking forward to all the new relationships I can build on this new journey!

You can also spark conversation by asking “What shape do you see?” or point out what colors they’re using! The language development opportunities are endless. 🗣
