Dear Friends,
My dream of owning a gallery and studio became reality last year on June 13th amidst the global pandemic. It was my vision to create a community art space close to my own neighborhood, a place where everyone felt welcome and comfortable viewing, discussing, and making art. That is exactly what 620 Art has become over the past year. Since opening last summer, we have hosted ten art exhibits, taught classes for both adults and children, and offered specialized workshops, as well as art camps during winter, spring and summer. The experience has been an amazing adventure, one which I have learned so much from and will never regret pursuing.

We are saddened to announce that we will be closing 620 Art Gallery on July 24th. I have decided that running the gallery while teaching full time at Deep Wood Elementary require too much of my time. I look forward to spending more time with my family and pursuing my own career as an established local artist. Continuing to support the arts in Round Rock.

I would like to personally thank all of you who supported 620 Art Gallery as artists, students, and patrons. Starting a small business is never an easy thing to do, but starting one during a pandemic was even more difficult. During the whole process, from deciding on a name and logo to hanging art shows and conducting kid's camps, the community response has always been very positive.

We will have our final art reception this Friday, July 23rd from 6-8pm, which will feature twenty eight paintings of my own artwork. I hope you will join us at this closing celebration!
