Ridgeview Middle School Band

Exciting news! The Honor Band received an Exceptional Musicianship award at the Texas Lutheran University BandFEST. We were just one of ten ensembles who were given this distinction!

Way to go, Honor Band!

This is a little late but we wanted to give a shout out to the RMS Jazz Band for a fantastic last performance of the year a couple of weeks ago. We are so proud of all of the amazing things they did this year! The jazz band performed at 4 concerts and 1 festival this year. This is the first year that the RMS jazz band has attended a jazz festival and they performed very well. Help us congratulate these students in the comments!

Congratulations to the Honor Band on a PHENOMENAL UIL Concert and Sight-reading performance this past Wednesday.

After returning home from Indy, we returned to the stage two days later as a part of our UIL Concert and Sight-reading evaluations at Georgetown HS.

The ensemble received unanimous superior ratings from the judges on stage and in sight-reading. Way to go, Honor Band!🎶

Congrats to the RMS Concert Band and Symphonic Band on their fantastic performances at UIL today! We are so proud of all your hard work and dedication this year!

We're all back safe and sound after an amazing time in Indy! We won't forget this week anytime soon!

Our final day in Indy!💙🎶

We started off by watching several HS groups in Clowes Hall. We had lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory before our United Sound Rehearsal🍝

We attended the gala (take a look at the last photo to see what table we were asigned again😜) before attending the final concert of the evening, the Honor Band of America, where our students performed as a part of the United Sound performance at intermission🎶

We are now headed to the airport to head home to Texas🛫

Over 30 of our students joined with students of Butler University and Carmel High School in a rehearsal in preparation for tonight’s United Sound performance during the intermission of the Honor Band of America concert tonight.

Day 3 in Indy!

We started today with our performance, a post-concert clinic with Mrs. Floyd, and then supporting other groups attending the festival as audience members🎶

We’d like to thank all of you who watched the live stream or attended our concert live and would also like to give a special shoutout to the Walsh Middle School Band for watching our performance today as well! We love the support that RRISD has for one another!

We ended the day with a student social at the Indianapolis Zoo including a private showing of the dolphin show🐬

Ridgeview Band in the Rose Parade!🌹🎶 Mr. Wood has been in California the last week assisting with the Bands of America Honor Band.

This group is made up of over 200 students from 35 states. Be sure to look for them in the Rose Parade on New Year's Day!
