This past Friday, we celebrated the seniors who have given so much of their time, talent, heart, and energy to this band.

From early mornings and long rehearsals to football games, competitions, bus rides, laughter, and unforgettable performances, you have made memories that will stay with us and stay with you.

You’ve grown not only as musicians and performers, but as leaders, teammates, and people. You’ve set an example for those who will follow in your footsteps, and your presence has made this band better in more ways than you probably realize.

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for every note, every step, every laugh, every challenge you pushed through, and every moment you shared with us.

We celebrate you and the incredible mark you’ve left on this family. 💙💛

The Board of Education recognized Finn Vega of Round Lake High School as one of the August fine arts students of the month!

Finn is a junior at RLHS and goes above and beyond in her art classes. She embodies the fine arts disciplines with her kindness, passion, and perseverance. Her warm personality always brings a positive light to her classrooms.

She currently serves as the youngest-ever National Art Honors Society president, where she leads the organization by creating engaging activities and developing positive relationships with the Art Club and Art Honors members. Finn has also played trumpet in the RLAS bands for several years.

The Board of Education recognized Jazmin Sonanes of Round Lake High School as one of the fine arts students of the month!

Jazmin is a senior at RLHS. This school year, she is taking AP Art and participating in the most advanced choir, Panther Voices, as the section leader for the altos. She is also an active member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society, where she serves as the secretary. She is also the only student in history to be a four-year member of NAHS.

Jazmin demonstrates exceptional leadership skills and commitment to all her creative endeavors. Although she can be very quiet and mild-mannered in the classroom, she’s not afraid to say something, or sing it, when she needs to.

HUGE congratulations to your Marching Panthers for taking 1st place at the Grayslake North “North Knights Marching Tournament” with a score of 60.65! This is the highest score we’ve had at the start. of the season!

And even bigger congratulations to Round Lake Guard they took the 3A caption for Best Auxiliary and were best auxiliary overall.
