Whatever era captures your imagination, you can find it at the library or on Libby.

[Sixteen books are arranged in rows, according to the era of their settings. 🌱 Over 1900 packets of seeds have been borrowed from the Seed Library so far this year. That's some amazing gardening being done in our community! Let's see some of the results. Tag us with photos of your garden bounty, flower beds, or dishes you've made with the things you've grown. And don't forget, there are things like lettuce, spinach, green onions, radishes, and carrots that grow well in the cool weather that's coming soon. Special thanks to the Round Lake Area Garden Club for maintaining the community's seed library located in the Adult Services department of the Round Lake Area Public Library.

Podcaster Alix Summers embarks on a new series, covering the complicated life of a woman she met in the pub on her birthday, but soon, she catches hints of dark secrets in the woman's past. Pick up "None of This Is True" by Lisa Jewell at the Round Lake Area Public Library now, discuss it at the Round Lake Park District on September 3 at 1pm.

Fresh, crisp apples are in your future. 🍎 Watch the tree in front of the library and pick what you want when they're ripe. Fruit that grows around the library is part of the Food Forest and is available free to anyone. Pick carefully, and borrow a fruit picker from the library for the high branches!
