🌎🔬 Ecosystem Explorers! 🌿

Mrs. Horn’s 5th Grade Scientists explored different ecosystems today! They identified and explained interactions between living and non-living things while asking thoughtful scientific questions about the ecosystems they observed. 🐾🌱💧

We love seeing our students think like scientists—observing, questioning, and making connections! 🌟

🌱 Growing Minds & Little Seeds! 🌱

Mrs. Hill’s 3rd Grade Students planted bean seeds as part of their Living Organisms & Life Cycles unit! 🌱🔬

There’s just one problem… How in the world will these seeds grow without soil?! 🤔😄

Our scientists are a little skeptical, but they’re ready to observe, wonder, and see what happens over the next few weeks! 🌿✨

💛 Building Classroom Community! 💙

3rd graders in Mrs. Hill's class interviewed a classmate, then introduced their new "buddy" to the rest of the class. The excitement in the room as they got to know one another was contagious! 🌟

Mrs. Hill is so proud of how her students are including others, working with different partners, and making everyone feel welcome.

This is what community looks like — and we're just getting started. 💙

🎉 Join Indian Hill at the 2026 Round Lake Pantherpalooza Homecoming Parade! 🎉

Indian Hill students and families are invited to walk together and celebrate our Round Lake community on Saturday, August 29 at 10:00 a.m.

📍 Meet: Golfview & Grove near Beach Elementary
🌱 Please meet the Indian Hill group on the grassy field.
⏰ Arrival: 9:15 a.m.
🏁 End: Round Lake High School, off Rosedale Court

Important: Every participating student must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or responsible adult for the entire parade. Students may not be dropped off to walk with the Indian Hill group. The accompanying adult is responsible for supervising their child throughout the event and leaving with them at the end.

🚌✨ Our students participated in a Bus Safety Demonstration today! They learned important tips and practiced how to stay safe while riding the bus and what to do in an emergency. Be sure to ask your student what they learned and how they would be a safe bus rider! 👏💛

🖼️✨ Mrs. Schmidt’s 5th Graders celebrated what makes each of them unique with a “Me” Museum! Students shared their interests, personalities, and favorite things while getting to know their classmates better. What a fun way to celebrate individuality, build connections, and kick off a wonderful year together! 💙📚
