Ivy Kids Roswell West

Have a little one that just can't seem to stop humming tunes? Children with musical intelligence have a heightened ability to understand songs, patterns, rhythm, and musical expression. From fingerplays and nursery rhymes to singing, dancing, and playing instruments, our students enjoy a wide variety of musical activities that help them process new information through music. Having musical intelligence does not always mean being musically gifted; it can also mean they pay close attention to not just what you say but how you say it!

Research shows that poor nutrition due to an unbalanced diet can hamper brain development, negatively impacting information processing, language skills and behavioral development. The Ivy Kids BrainBites nutrition program is our commitment to doing our part to combat these negative effects of poor nutrition. We serve healthy, balanced meals made with whole grains, fresh or flash frozen fruits and vegetables, and lean proteins.

Did you know that children with naturalistic intelligence have an innate curiosity and love for the outdoors and all things natural? Our little naturalists enjoy exploring and classifying different plants, animals, and natural materials. That's why at Ivy Kids, we embrace naturalistic intelligence and incorporate it into our curriculum in fun and meaningful ways. From individual sensory bins filled with natural materials to outdoor free play, we provide plenty of opportunities for children to explore and learn about the natural world around them.

Ivy Kids uses Ages and Stages Questionnaires and other tools to track your child's progress throughout our program. Teachers share assessments with parents every nine weeks to keep you informed on your child's progression.

Attention parents of little artists and builders! Did you know that children with visual-spatial intelligence have a natural aptitude for creativity, design, and spatial awareness? They love to think in pictures, design, draw, decorate, and enjoy working with shapes, colors, and textures. At Ivy Kids, we start art activities with the babies in our infant classroom, encouraging their creativity and imagination from the very beginning! As children grow, our classrooms are filled with hands-on materials that encourage visual-spatial learning, from building blocks and manipulatives to art supplies and sensory activities.
