Volunteering Isn't Required. We're Asking Anyway.
We want to be honest about something: you do not have to volunteer to belong here. Full stop. No judgment, ever, if the answer is "not this year."
But here's the truth — the events we have talked about this week don't run themselves. They run because someone said yes to a role that fit their life. And those roles come in every shape:
→ One-time asks (help set up Bingo Night, no commitment beyond that evening) → A few-times commitments (help run a committee for one event, or one class party) → In-person help (at school, during the day or evening) → From-home help (yearbook layouts, calling business partners, designing flyers) → Committee chair (own the event start to finish) → Committee member or Room Parent (support the chair or the classroom, hands-on-deck)
If you have five hours this whole school year, there's a role sized for that. If you have five hours a month, there's a role for that too.
We're not asking because we assume you have time. We're asking because if you do, we'd love to have you — and we think a lot of people have more to offer than they realize once it's broken into pieces this small.
