NAPP was chartered in 2003 as a parent organization in association with Northbrook UMC Preschool in R What is NAPP? We are proud of our achievements! THANK YOU!

NAPP stands for the Northbrook Association of Preschool Parents

NAPP is, in a sense, the voice of our Preschool, working behind the scenes to ensure the following:

--Source of COMMUNICATION between the preschool & our families
--Providing ENRICHMENT as part of the learning environment at Northbrook
--Working to ensure a sense of COMMUNITY among Northbrook families & staff
--FUNDRAISING, in order

to bring additional activities to Northbrook, as well as provide scholarships to families that have short-term financial difficulties. NAPP is responsible for some of our parents, our students, and our teacher’s favorite events each year…

--Teacher Appreciation Events to support & encourage our wonderful staff
--Family Social Events; i.e. pizza night
--Extracurricular Events such as; the puppet guy

Because of our wonderful parents, NAPP has been able to Enhance Our Children’s Preschool Experience through the following purchases, and many more…

--New technology for the preschool
--New playground equipment
--Enhanced the preschool security system and fire equipment
--Replaced school entrance doors
--Provided a brick, handicap and stroller accessible, walkway entrance
--Provided awning at walk-in entrance

NAPP also provides Assistance To Northbrook Families that may be experiencing personal difficulties where there is a need for community support. Northbrook Preschool Students Need YOU! NAPP appreciates any support from our parents. We believe that support can come in many different ways, all of which are appreciated more than you know. It is because of each of you that our students have a preschool experience, second to none! Below are just a few ways that you can get involved…

BECOME A MEMBER: Being a NAPP member is a great way to stay in tune with all of the wonderful things happening at our preschool. Membership requires no additional obligations or commitments. VOLUNTEER:There are lots of ways to get involved and support our students, and their Families by offering your time! FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION: There are always opportunities to give, financially, to our preschool and to make a huge impact in the lives of these children! PRAY:Once you join NAPP, there may not be extra money or time to support us in these ways. However, we will always appreciate your Prayers!
