Chi Phi Educational Trust In our resolve to help our Brothers rise above the current culture, the Chi Phi Educational Trust is pleased to have established the Men of Virtue Fund.

The Chi Phi Educational Trust's mission is to support the Fraternity by promoting scholarships, develop character, improving educational facilities, and supporting charitable causes. The Men of Virtue Fund builds upon Chi Phi's core values and offers Brothers and friends alike an opportunity to provide critical, unrestricted gifts to the Trust. In return, the Men of Virtue Fund supports a range of

initiatives designed to prepare emerging leaders and preserve our Fraternity's future legacy through comprehensive trainings and programs as well as enhanced academic and operational resources. Our Brotherhood continues with you.

The Parry Memorial Scholarship, established in 2013, recognizes the character, leadership, and commitment to service exemplified by E. Owen Parry, Alpha 1965. Award preference for this scholarship is given to members of the Alpha Chapter at the University of Virginia.

In 1992 Brother Gray Ramsaur, Theta Delta 1939 and his wife, Cordelia, made a generous donation to the Educational Trust in order to establish the Ramsaur Leadership Fund. The purpose of this Fund is to award scholarships for excellence based upon scholastic attainment, leadership ability, and service to the Chi Phi Fraternity. Brother Ramsaur stipulated in his gift agreement that preference for this scholarship should go to Brothers from a Florida Chapter; however, any Chi Phi Brother truly demonstrating merit could become a recipient.

Edward Lee Morris III, Nu 1989, graduated with a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Houston. During his undergraduate years, Brother Morris served as the Nu Chapter’s Epsilon and Theta while also holding other leadership positions on campus. Upon graduation, Brother Morris became an active member of the Nu Alumni Association and also served on the Educational Trust’s Board of Advisors. However, in order to attend (and, consequently, afford) his college degrees, he had to work part time. Knowing the challenges that come with working while pursuing your education, Brother Morris wanted to establish a scholarship that could support Brothers in situations similar to his own. Therefore, the Morris Family Scholarship was created.

The Neel Scholarship was established in 2005 through a donation by Ms. Eugenia Louise Neel. Ms. Neel established this Scholarship Fund in honor of her parents, Robert William Neel, Omega 1911 and Tommie Louise Park Neel, along with her Brothers Robert William Neel, Jr., Gamma 1941, and Joseph Lockhart Neel, Eta 1943. And, whereas preference to scholarship recipients is to go to those Brothers attending an Institution in the state of Georgia, Ms. Neel graciously agreed that any Brother demonstrating strong leadership and academic excellence could receive the honor.

Today we're celebrating the person who keeps the Trust moving forward with passion, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to our mission. Whether she's connecting with Alumni across the country, championing opportunities for our Brothers, or making the next fundraising call, she leads with energy, heart, and dedication.

When she's not working to strengthen the Trust, you'll likely find her spending time with her daughter, Poppy, or out walking her two four-legged sidekicks, Murphy and Oscar.
