The birthdate of the NMMI Alumni Association is 21 May 1922. We exist to promote communication between alumni. We plan and hold events such as the NMMI Alumni Trail Ride, which began in 1989. They are traditionally held on a ranch in New Mexico. Homecoming every year, usually held on the third week after a full weekend in October. ll for 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, etc. but because many cadets attend for up to 6 years, all class years are welcome. During the year we host "Tattoos" which are Alumni Gatherings. Normailly an alumnus from a larger city, some with chapters to assist will coordinate in finding a venue and all alumni in the area (even just visiting) will attend. The class years of the participants is widely varried and enjoyed by all as the experience on "The Hill" changes little from year to year. Other gatherings that are held are "Meet 'n Greets". This is usually an informal gathering for cocktails or other refreshments at a restaurant or pub.
