Unfortunately, I did not win. It certainly wasn’t the outcome many of us wanted, especially considering I definitely was the most qualified. I’m holding my head high knowing I ran an honest campaign with integrity, and got to meet so many amazing people along the way.
To - congratulations and I sincerely wish you the best of luck in the position. I do hope you’ll take ALL our families in district 1 of all socioeconomic and backgrounds into consideration when leading.
To your service the last 9 years has been nothing short of incredible and appreciated. Your grace and leadership has touched so many, and I’m honored you believed in me enough to ask me to try and fill your shoes.
Thank you so much to all my supporters and people that voted for me. I appreciate you all more than you know.
To my family - I couldn’t have done it without your love and support. You let me chase a dream and cheered me on the whole way. You guys are my everything and my “why”.
Last thing I’ll say - It’s sad to me how so many people make it a partisan game when education should be anything but that. The discourse of Roswell politics is a special kind of nasty and I don’t understand why it has to be this way. It’s so far removed from how I like to go about life.
I’ll be returning back to that life, as my run with politics is over after the last year. Looking forward to having much needed down time and focusing on my family and work.
Much love and then some! See you around Roswell - a community I love so dearly. 💙🇺🇸💚

It is with heavy heart that I was forced to turn in my resignation from the Roswell Soccer Club board as VP. You can read everything in my letter and included the Rec Commission letter sent to the RSC board.
There are some local government officials, and a group of her supporters that will stop at nothing until they tear down neighbors they see as enemies. People volunteering in their community to do better and create a sense community. They don’t care about others, or the kids, or the employees they involve. It’s all about them and their power.
We are better than this Roswell. I know it in my heart. 💚💙
Now make sure to go VOTE today until 7 or Tues 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.!!!

🚨 Setting the record straight.🚨
This was sent out from our sitting City Council member (CM) Lee Hills. It’s one thing to support a candidate but quite another when fabricating lies about their opponent and fellow neighbor.
CM Hills states in the last paragraph about the claim I made of having no resignations under my leadership. True! She goes on about my resignation under my opponents leadership as if it were the only one. There were THREE resignations under my opponents leadership THIS year (2024).
CM Hills also states that I resigned “two short months before the holiday extravaganza.” Also a lie. I’ve provided my resignation letter dated 2/14/24.
Truth is I had an in-person meeting with my opponent in May 2023. I explained what my time commitments in the fall would be and wasn’t sure about keeping my position as VP of fundraising. I was told by her it would be fine to stay on the board, and was strongly encouraged by the other Co-Pres at the time to stay on. I was told “we will figure it out” and believed that, because that’s what teammates in this PTA/PTO venture do to support our schools.
In August 2023, I created a brand new business partner program for MPE PTA that raised an incredible $7,000!!! Yes, I did hand over reigns on that and on our Holiday Extravaganza in fall 2023, after time commitment did become too much with my council race. My opponent and the co-President this year seemed completely collaborative and helpful in taking these things off my plate. There was NEVER anything said me negatively at the time, so timing on this is clearly politically motivated.
I’m also providing one of the other resignation letters from the former treasurer and incoming exec leadership at CMS. She states that after 7 years in the position with multiple leaders she had irreconcilable differences due to my opponents leadership and trying to make decisions behind closed doors.
If CM Hills is lying about this small thing what else has she been lying to us all about?!

This woman - Sarah Hailey - has true passion for our youth and has been an asset to the Mountain Park Elementary community for years now in various leadership capacities.
Under her leadership, she was able to raise $200,000 for The Park Project this year to get a new playground at the school. She’s also a killer, yoga, instructor. 🧘♀️ I’m delighted to have this leader’s (and friend’s) endorsement, especially considering she’s worked with both candidates.

Incredibly powerful NF Rotary Interfaith breakfast this morning. My friend Maggie, who is CEO of CDA and endorsed me, gave the most vulnerable and heartening speech about her childhood and path into leadership and faith.
We were also reminded by Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Hindu leaders about our interconnected spirituality. It was exactly what the soul needed on a morning that I gratefully woke up but was challenging serious adversity.
And yes, I was super teary eyed nearly the whole time and glad we have this picture to document a profound moment for me.

Racheal and I got to know each other in 2020 for the School Meal Program. She’s a dedicated community member with a passion for her school community at Esther Jackson. Appreciate all the work she’s done and her endorsement of my candidacy!

The has created an educational video series for kids so they can learn more about their city! These are great quick vids that could be used by educators in the area too. They’re super cute too.
