Unfortunately, I did not win. It certainly wasnโt the outcome many of us wanted, especially considering I definitely was the most qualified. Iโm holding my head high knowing I ran an honest campaign with integrity, and got to meet so many amazing people along the way.
To - congratulations and I sincerely wish you the best of luck in the position. I do hope youโll take ALL our families in district 1 of all socioeconomic and backgrounds into consideration when leading.
To your service the last 9 years has been nothing short of incredible and appreciated. Your grace and leadership has touched so many, and Iโm honored you believed in me enough to ask me to try and fill your shoes.
Thank you so much to all my supporters and people that voted for me. I appreciate you all more than you know.
To my family - I couldnโt have done it without your love and support. You let me chase a dream and cheered me on the whole way. You guys are my everything and my โwhyโ.
Last thing Iโll say - Itโs sad to me how so many people make it a partisan game when education should be anything but that. The discourse of Roswell politics is a special kind of nasty and I donโt understand why it has to be this way. Itโs so far removed from how I like to go about life.
Iโll be returning back to that life, as my run with politics is over after the last year. Looking forward to having much needed down time and focusing on my family and work.
Much love and then some! See you around Roswell - a community I love so dearly. ๐๐บ๐ธ๐
