Good afternoon RHS families! It is with great sadness we must inform you that Hornet Notes will not be continued beginning this current school year. This decision was made based on quite a bit of feedback we have received. Please continue this tradition for your own kids if you can! We will be dropping off what green envelopes we have leftover as well as some blank hornet notecards at the front desk of RHS. Please feel free to stop by and pick some up beginning Friday, 3/13. Best wishes to you all and your RHS graduates!!!

Attention Senior RHS Parents!

Start collecting letters and notes for your Senior to go into their Hornet Notes Folder (given out at Senior Clearance). These notes/letters are written by family, friends, teachers, neighbors, etc., wishing them well on their accomplishments and new adventures that lie ahead. Please note-these letters/notes will start being collected in April and end early May. Please check back soon for more detailed directions.

A HUGE HORNET Thank You to the Roswell Community and volunteers for writing and collecting notes for our RHS Seniors! 💚

We successfully collected & stuffed over 4.000 notes for all 482 graduates! 🎓

Students will pick up their green envelope of Hornet Love notes at Senior Clearance Thursday 5/15. If your student is unable to make it to Senior Clearance, they will be able to pick up from the front office AFTER senior clearance ends. 📝

Thank you to our very devoted volunteers who spent a few hours during RHS lunch to hand out hornet postcards and encourage students to write Hornet Notes for their Senior friends! 💚

Don’t forget *** MAY 1st *** is the deadline to get your notes turned in! 🗒️📝

Drop off at RHS office, the UPS store across from RHS OR reach out to us, and one of the volunteers can help pick up!

We need many more love notes from our community! 💚

Keep writing notes for all the seniors you know and all the seniors you don’t know (aka Angel notes)!

A BIG Thank you for all that turned out to write and drop off your Hornet Notes last night! 💚

We are still low on this years push to get all Seniors at least 3 notes. Continue the push to get those letters in!
We also need “Angel Notes” which are notes written with no specific name and will be given to grads that do not have any notes.

It’s time to get a head start on HORNET NOTES! 💌💚

It is our goal to honor this RHS 2025 Class by presenting each student with a green “Hornet Notes” envelope filled with letters and notes of congratulation and well wishes addressed to them individually and personally.

ANYONE! Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, bosses, current/past teachers, coaches, dance instructors, clergy, and friends can write messages. Our Hornet Notes team will collect these cards and letters for each student, keep them safe, and distribute them on Senior Clearance Day. Every graduate will receive a large GREEN ENVELOPE containing these messages and well wishes.

There are 3 convenient ways to submit Hornet Notes:

1. For those at Roswell HS, drop in the marked collection box in the RHS Front Office.
Please do not MAIL letters to the school.

2. Drop notes off in the marked collection box at the UPS store directly across the street from Roswell High School in the Publix Shopping Center.

3. Mail the notes to

GUIDELINES: Please Keep in mind that cards and letters will be collected for over 500 students. It is imperative that these guidelines are followed:

• SEND ONLY CARDS OR LETTERS 6x10 OR SMALLER
• DO NOT SEND PACKAGES OF ANY KIND.
• DO NOT SEND ANYTHING OF VALUE (i.e., cash, checks, gift cards).
• If including several envelopes inside a larger one, PUT THE STUDENT’S FULL NAME ON ALL ENVELOPES.
• ALL CARDS AND LETTERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 1, 2025. We encourage you to send your letters as early as possible.

Help By Being an Angel Writer!

To ensure all students receive at least 3 personal notes, we welcome individuals in the community as "angel writers." The role of an angel writer is to send a note congratulating the student on their graduation and offering life advice or hope for the bright future that lies ahead of them. Please respect the fact that anyone, of any faith background, may receive this note, so keep it general please. Notes should be handwritten and may be dropped in the box at the UPS store or RHS front office.
