"Game changer."

That's how this instructor describes the CAT® Simulator.

And it's easy to see why.

Students can gain hands-on experience operating heavy equipment in a safe, risk-free environment before ever stepping onto a job site. They can learn controls, practice real-world scenarios, and build confidence through repetition.

The best part? CAT Simulators use authentic CAT controls; the same controls used on the actual machine. In fact, they can be removed from the simulator and installed on the equipment.

That's about as close as you can get to machine time without burning fuel.

Whether you're training the next generation of operators or helping experienced workers refresh their skills, CAT Simulators are helping close the gap between learning and doing.

Relationships matter.

Yesterday, our CEO Aimee Scott Crow had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of Levil Technology one of Aidex's valued partners.

It is always great to see firsthand the innovative work their team is doing to support advanced manufacturing and technical education. From CNC machining and automation training solutions to hands-on learning, Levil is helping prepare the next generation of skilled talent for careers in industry.

Partnerships like this are important because preparing the next generation for the workforce is not something any one organization can solve alone. It takes collaboration between industry, education, and technology providers who share a common goal: building stronger training programs and creating opportunities for students and workers.

We appreciate the work Levil Technology does and look forward to continuing to work together to support manufacturers, educators, and workforce initiatives across the country.

Thank you to the Levil team for the hospitality and for the important role you play in this mission!

More than 700,000 skilled trade positions remain unfilled across the United States. 140,000 additional skilled workers in electrical, HVAC, welders, heavy equipment operators, and other skilled positions by 2030. At the same time, 40% of experienced tradespeople are expected to start retiring in the next ten years.

The question isn't whether we need more skilled workers. That's obvious.

The question is how we prepare the next generation to fill these critical roles.

That's where Career & Technical Education comes in.

At Aidex, we're proud to support the schools and training programs that are building tomorrow's workforce. Through our work, we help provide the technology and recourses to create learning environments where students can develop real-world skills in fields like:
⚡ Electrical
❄️ HVAC
🔧 Plumbing
🤖 Robotic Welding & Automation
🚜 Heavy Equipment Operations
📜 Industry Certifications

These programs do more than teach technical skills. They introduce students to rewarding careers, connect education to industry needs, and help employers access to the technical talent they need to grow.

The future of our infrastructure, manufacturing facilities, energy systems, and construction projects depends on the students sitting in today's classrooms and training labs.

Every investment in Career & Technical Education is an investment in our workforce, our economy, and our communities.

We're honored to play a role in helping schools prepare students for careers that keep America building, creating, and moving forward.

What happens when schools give students access to real industry technology before graduation?

You get makerspaces that feel less like classrooms… and more like innovation labs.

Across K-12, career centers, and higher education, institutions are using Roland DGA technologies; from vinyl cutters and engravers to wide-format printing and fabrication tools, to help students explore careers in design, advanced manufacturing, entrepreneurship, engineering, marketing, apparel, signage, and skilled trades.

Students aren’t just completing assignments.

They’re creating products. Building prototypes. Designing branding. Producing real-world projects.
That’s what makes a modern makerspace powerful.

It creates an environment where creativity, technical skills, and career exploration all come together in a hands-on way that engages students differently than traditional instruction alone.

At Aidex Educational Systems, we believe makerspaces should help students connect learning to future opportunities, and Roland technologies are a great example of tools that support both creativity and workforce readiness.

Schools across the country are rethinking what career exploration can look like.
From K-12 makerspaces to university innovation labs, institutions are using UltiMaker 3D printing technology to give students hands-on access to engineering, manufacturing, robotics, design, and problem-solving skills long before they enter the workforce.

Students aren’t just learning about technology; they’re building with it. Designing prototypes. Testing ideas. Collaborating. Failing forward. Creating real-world solutions.

That’s the power of a modern makerspace.

It transforms a classroom into an environment where students can explore careers, build confidence, and connect learning directly to future workforce pathways.

At Aidex Educational Systems, we believe makerspaces are more than equipment; they’re launchpads for innovation, engagement, and career discovery.

Interested in bringing a makerspace to your school, district, or institution? Let’s connect.
