Classmates, cabins are still available for our 45th Reunion Cruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl, sailing from Philadelphia to Bermuda, October 30–November 6, 2027. Please review the flyer and contact the cruise consultant to book.

As you prepare, please don’t delay applying for your passport. While a certified birth certificate and government ID may be accepted for cruise travel, a valid U.S. passport book is strongly recommended—especially in case you need to fly home from Bermuda, as a birth certificate or passport card cannot be used for international air travel.

OUR 45TH HIGH SCHOOL REUNION CRUISE! 💜💛

Classmates, we still have time to get on board!🎉

Our Martin Luther King High School Class of 1982 will be celebrating 45 years with our Reunion Cruise beginning October 30, 2027. We would love to see as many classmates as possible come together for this very special milestone.

And remember our theme:

“We Love It When We’re Cruising Together!” 🚢❤️

If you haven’t booked yet, there is still time. All cruise payments must be completed by July 2, 2027. Please refer to the cruise flyer and contact our cruise consultant listed on the flyer for booking information, payment details, cabin availability, and any questions regarding the cruise.

And this celebration isn’t limited only to the Class of ’82! Alumni from other Martin Luther King High School classes are more than welcome to join us as we celebrate the Class of 1982 and our 45th reunion. Bring your family and friends and come cruise with us!

For classmates who may not be able to attend the cruise, we are also working toward having a local 45th reunion celebration. Your annual class dues, along with our fundraising efforts, help support our reunion activities as well as our Bereavement Committee and other class needs throughout the year.

I’m also in the process of making a few adjustments to our Martin Luther King Class of 1982 website. In the next few days, the website will provide another convenient option for paying class dues, especially for classmates who do not use Cash App. I’ll share an update once everything is ready.

There is still plenty of time to make plans, make payments, and get on board!

Hello, Class of ’82!

Just a friendly reminder that our $100 Class Dues were due Saturday, August 8th. Class dues are due each year on the second Saturday in August.

First, I would like to sincerely thank those classmates who have already submitted their class dues. Your support and participation are greatly appreciated! 💜💛

For those who have not submitted their dues yet, we still need your support. If paying the full $100 at one time is difficult, you may make two payments of $50.

Our reunion cruise is scheduled for October 30, 2027, sailing from Philadelphia to Bermuda aboard Norwegian Cruise Line. There is still time to book, and the cruise does not have to be paid in full until July 2027.

Whether you are planning to cruise with us or celebrate locally, we want our Class of 1982 to have a reunion we can all be proud of.

But to make our local reunion possible, we really need everyone who can participate to get on board with paying their class dues and supporting our fundraisers.

Whether you purchased popcorn or made a donation, your generosity means more than words can express. We were especially blessed to receive $200 in donations, and we are truly grateful to everyone who gave. Your kindness is helping us move one step closer to creating a memorable 45th Class Reunion in 2027.

💜💛 Happy Graduation Anniversary, Martin Luther King High School Class of 1982! 💛💜

🎓 June 24, 1982 – June 24, 2026 🎓

Today marks 44 years since we graduated from Martin Luther King High School and gathered on the floor of the Philadelphia Civic Center to celebrate one of the most important milestones of our young lives.

Forty-four years ago today, we were full of dreams, hopes, and excitement for the future. We didn’t know where life would take us, but by God’s grace, many of us are still here to celebrate this special day together.

As we reflect on this anniversary, let us also remember the classmates we have lost over the years. Though they are no longer with us, they will always remain a part of the Martin Luther King High School Class of 1982 family. We honor their memories and keep their loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.

💜💛 Looking Ahead to Our 45th Reunion! 💛💜

We are excited to be planning our 45th Reunion Cruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl, departing from Philadelphia on October 30, 2027, for a 7-day cruise to Bermuda. Many classmates have already booked their cabins, and we encourage others to reserve theirs soon. There is plenty of time to make payments, with final payment due in July 2027.

We are also exploring plans for a local reunion celebration. Participation and financial support from our classmates will help make that possible.
