Buckley Country Day School Buckley Country Day School is an independent, coeducational day school providing a superior elementary education.

Buckley Country Day School was founded in 1923 and opened the doors of its first building in Great Neck to a class of twenty-three children. In 1955, as the school’s enrollment continued to increase, Buckley moved to its current location in the Village of North Hills in Roslyn.

Some of our rising seventh and eighth graders are back in the classroom for an SSAT prep course with P.M. Gillen: Elite Test Prep & Admissions. The SSAT is required for students that are applying to Long Island independent schools, NYC independent schools, and boarding schools.

The Buckley Athletics staff will be hosting our annual pre-season workouts for Upper School at Buckley! Pre-season will consist of a three sport rotation. Each group will have the opportunity to practice each of our fall sports which include volleyball, soccer and cross country.
