Our Story
We have generations of child educating and caring experience. The Growing Tree North was founded with the philosophy that children learn through play in a warm and nurturing environment. This value was first started in our other location, The Growing Tree Nursery School Founded in 1979. Both Learning Centers were always family owned and directed by the family of Dawn Friedman. We are conveniently located within minutes (approximately a tenth of a mile) from the Long Island Railroads Roslyn Station. We enroll, infants through Pre-K which is unique to this location. Each age group has their own specialized program that fits their needs. Both schools are located within a few short minutes from each other in Roslyn, New York. The classes between both Growing Tree Schools give you a flexibility with ages of children, hours and days.
