The "Patron of our Fields"Today is the feast of St. Isidore the Farmer, the patron saint of farmers and rural communities! 🚜🌱

In a Diocese as beautifully rural as ours, St. Isidore is a reminder that work is a form of prayer. Legend says that while Isidore was at Mass, angels were seen plowing his fields so his work wouldn't fall behind. He shows us that when we put God first, He takes care of the rest.

Today, we pray in a special way for all the farmers and farm families across the Diocese of La Crosse. May the Lord bless your labor, protect your crops and keep you safe this planting season.
