As a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), Kasandra brings more than two decades of experience supporting children, families, and individuals with disabilities. Her professional journey includes roles as an LSSP, Educational Diagnostician, Special Education Teacher, General Education Teacher, Department Chair, Adjunct Professor, and instructional leader.
But Kasandra’s connection to this work is also deeply personal.
She is the owner of Kaleb’s Corner, LLC, a special needs consulting business named after her son, Kaleb, who had special needs. Through both her personal and professional experiences, Kasandra understands the unique challenges families can face while navigating disability, caregiving, advocacy—and the many emotions that can come with loving and supporting a child.
💚 Grief can look different when you are grieving expectations, abilities, milestones, dreams, or the life you imagined for your child. This conversation creates space to acknowledge those emotions and gain understanding and support.
