Never forgotten!

We stand with our nation in honoring those who served and died in the 9/11 attacks. While we will never forget the lives that were taken from us, we will also never forget the courageous acts that were carried out by those who put themselves in harm’s way to save people they never knew. Today, on the 20th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks, we salute our emergency responders, frontline workers, medical personnel, our men and women in uniform and all who serve in the medical transport industry. You were our heroes on 9/11, and you remain our heroes today.

It’s been referred to as the unofficial end of summer, Labor Day. This federal holiday usually sees a lot of people hitting the roads, trying to squeeze in a mini vacation of sorts. So, if you’re one of them, have fun, be alert, observe speed limits and most of all — be safe. Enjoy your three-day weekend!

NCTI is a d/b/a of American Medical Response, a subsidiary of Global Medical Response, headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado. NCTI is the largest paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician and EMS education institute in The United States. We offer Paramedic and EMT courses at multiple site across the country.

History:
NCTI was founded in 1988 in Sacramento, California, after the need was identified for EMS training resources in the Sacramento Valley. A coalition of private ambulance services initially funded the start-up, which began as a partnership with a local community college. Over the years, as the demand grew and EMS agency and college district boundaries were drawn and re-drawn, NCTI began to operate independently.

Today, NCTI programs are programmatically accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and has grown into the largest paramedic education institution in the United States.

The NCTI faculty and staff partner with students to: achieve academic success; develop the cognitive, psychomotor, and effective skills to function as qualified entry-level healthcare professionals; and prepare the graduate to qualify for certification and/or licensure.
