Thank you to all of the families who joined us for Open House! ๐โจ๐ซ
Our Spartans were beaming with pride as they had the opportunity to showcase their hard work and share all they have learned this year. From writing samples and art projects to academic growth and classroom accomplishments, it was a special evening for students to celebrate their achievements with the people they love most.
There is nothing more meaningful than watching our students proudly explain their work and seeing the excitement on their faces as their families admired all they have accomplished.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the school year. Together, we help our students grow, learn, and thrive.

After three weeks of hard work, perseverance, and focus, our Spartans have officially completed the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP)! ๐๐โ๏ธ
To celebrate their dedication, students in grades 3โ5 earned Focus Tickets for showing outstanding concentration and effort during testing. At the end of testing, we held exciting prize drawings with rewards including gift cards, pizza parties, and king-size candy bars! ๐๐ซ๐
We are incredibly proud of all of our students for giving their best effort and demonstrating what it means to be safe, responsible, and respectful learners.
Be sure to ask your 3rdโ5th grader all about their testing experience and whether they were one of our lucky prize winners!
Congratulations, Spartans! You did it! ๐๐งก

What an incredible performance by our talented Spanger Elementary School Music Ensemble! ๐ถโจ
This yearโs ensemble theme, โKid Stuff,โ centered around the dreams, hopes, and aspirations our students have for their futures and for the world they hope to create as they grow up.
Through music, our students shared powerful messages about kindness, courage, creativity, and making a positive difference. It was truly moving to hear such young children express such big dreams and to witness their confidence as they showed our students and families all they are capable of accomplishing.
We are so proud of our performers for their hard work, dedication, and bravery on stage. Their voices remind us that the future is bright and full of possibility. ๐
Thank you to our amazing music staff for inspiring our students and helping them bring their dreams to life through song.

Our kindergarten Spartans experienced a truly magical moment as they released their butterflies into our school garden! ๐ฆ๐ธ
After watching the incredible life cycle from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly, students were amazed to see their butterflies spread their wings and explore their new home. One of the most exciting parts was observing the butterflies up close as they landed on flowers and used their proboscis to sip nectarโbringing our classroom science lessons to life right before their eyes!
These hands-on experiences create unforgettable learning moments and help our youngest Spartans develop a deeper appreciation for the wonders of nature.
A huge thank you to our amazing Spanger Parent Teacher Club for supporting this special project, and an extra special thank you to our incredible Garden Guru, Sabrina Melhorn, for creating such a beautiful and safe place for our butterflies to land and thrive. ๐ฟ๐
