Remember you don't have to wait until fall to seek donations and corporate sponsorships for this year's walkathon! Envelopes went home at the end of the school year. This is our only major fundraiser for the year. So hit the streets and ask your local businesses if they'd be willing to be a corporate sponsor!

Today marks the last day of school, which also means it marks the last day of my official term as President of the MTPC, and my final post as a board member on this page.
I have enjoyed my time on the board, and loved every minute of helping to make Twain more than "just school" for the students and their families, as well as the teachers and staff.
I hope that you all were able to make at least one memory during one of the MTPC hosted events from this past year! I know I certainly have!
On behalf of the MTPC, I want to take this time to thank each and every one of you that helped out this past year, whether it was donating your time, money, decorations, or food, or by helping to brainstorm an idea, or to show your support in one way or another. It was not overlooked, and was greatly appreciated!
I personally would like to thank Nicole Maurin, Mary Barnes, and Amy Plucinski for working so hard to make everything that we have done this last year work, and work well. I'm really thankful that I got to work with you all and know that I have lifetime friends because if it.
I also would like to congratulate Mary Barnes, who will be next years President, and Roni Vanderford, next years Vice President. I wish next years board well, and look forward to assisting them in the great work that I know they will accomplish.
I wish you all a fabulous summer! I can't wait for next year (after a couple months off, of course!), and all of the fun and excitement it will bring!

Congratulations to this year's 5th Grade class!!! They were the top fundraisers of the GAGA Ball Pit "spare change" fundraiser by raising over $100! Thank you to all that donated their spare change! We raised a total of $350.28 to put towards the installation of the GAGA Ball Pit!
Next school year, the incoming 6th Graders (current 5th graders) will be the first class to get to use the GAGA Ball Pit at the Grand Opening/dedication!

The end of the school year is upon us! Hooray for summer! But at the parent club, we are planning ahead for next school year. Some families expressed an interest in doing their walk-a-thon fundraising over the summer when they see family and friends. So walk-a-thon envelopes are on their way home today! Please be sure to check your child's backpack.

Sending home the envelopes now should allow us more time to raise enough funds and contact companies for corporate sponsorship. This is our only major fundraiser of the year and we appreciate your help!

The "change" fundraiser for the GAGA Ball Pit is almost over! If you would like to send in any of your spare change to help raise funds to put in a GAGA Ball Pit over the summer at Twain, please do so by Friday, June 5th. Please remember to mark your child's name and teacher on it since the grade that raised the most money will be the first grade to officially use the Pit in September!

Ice Cream Social is tonight! 6 - 7:30pm
Stop in for a sweet treat and to pick up your child's writing packets from their classrooms! Each ice cream treat is $1, and there will be bounce houses and an airbrushed tattoo station!
It looks like the weather will be perfect! We hope to see you tonight!
