MARYLAND OFFICERS CHOOSE SPFPA—UNANIMOUSLY!

On October 8, 2026, officers working at Northrop Grumman facilities at numerous locations across Maryland voted unanimously to join SPFPA!

Across multiple worksites, these officers shared one goal: a stronger voice on the job. Their vote marks an exciting new chapter—one built on solidarity, representation, and the opportunity to shape their working lives through collective bargaining.

SPFPA’s experienced negotiating team is ready to listen to their concerns, identify their priorities, and work alongside them to pursue a contract addressing wages, benefits, and working conditions.

Loose cords, blocked exits, poor lighting, wet floors, damaged equipment, and other workplace hazards deserve attention. Spotting and reporting issues early can help prevent injuries and disruptions.

On October 7, 2026, the officers working at the Tyson Foods Plant in South Sioux City, Nebraska, voted unanimously to join our SPFPA Family!

These officers stood together and sent a powerful message: They want a voice in their future.

STRONG TOGETHER. VICTORIOUS TOGETHER!

Officers at Rivers Corrections Center in Louisiana voted overwhelmingly to join SPFPA—51 YES votes to 11 NO votes!

These officers stood together, weathered their employer’s anti-union campaign, and stayed focused on what matters: a voice on the job and the opportunity to bargain collectively over wages, benefits, and working conditions.

Their determination and unity made this victory possible. Now, we look forward to standing beside them as they take the next steps toward their first negotiated contract.
