Seeking SEVERAL positive, patient, and experienced instructors for VIOLIN, and GUITAR, who can teach beginner to advanced students, ages 5 and up. The ability to teach additional instruments is a huge plus and will allow for more teaching hours. We offer private lessons in piano, voice, orchestral strings, guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, and brass/woodwind instruments.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by currently working toward or having completed a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a DOJ fingerprinting/background check and TB test.

Job Type: Part-time employee, 10-30 hours per week

Starting Pay: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience

Since age 6, Mr. Aydan has been heavily involved in music. Starting with piano, and eventually learning violin and guitar, Aydan's history with music has involved travel orchestras, collegiate performances/recitals, public shows, and occasional music production.

Aydan is adept at advanced level violin and piano, and intermediate guitar.

Mr. Steven Martin is an Award-Winning National Studio/Touring Drummer, & Music Teacher.

He's performed with Grammy Winners, CMA Award Winners, Emmy Award Winners, a Billboard Country Artist, a Billboard R&B Artist, several Multi-Platinum Producers, A HAPAward Winner, a #1 Hit Pop Artist, & opened for dozens of international bands. He's opened for Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, Black Label Society, Bad Religion, Steve Aoki, Rodney Atkins, Quiet Riot, Burning Rain, Metalachi, Chuck Ragan & many others. He has actively worked in the music industry as an educator & professional drummer for 14 years.

Primarily a brass and piano instructor, Ms. Bailey has been teaching for several years. Her musical endeavors began with trumpet, continuing through the low brass scene, and eventually expanding to piano.
She attended American River College as principal tubist for their Symphonic band, Concert band, and Orchestra, marched with Sacramento State University and Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps, and was invited to be a guest player with the 191st Army Band of the Wild West.
As a tubist, Bailey loves playing classical works and symphonies, and syncopated jazz from the early 1920s and 1930s. She is currently principal tubist for Symphonia Phonotone, an internationally renowned dance and swing orchestra. Her main goal is to instill passion in her students, teach them to play music beautifully, and of course have fun!

Meet Mrs. Betty Karamatova!!

Betty Karamatova is from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She attended V. Uspensky Specialized Music School for 12 years, where she performed and won two international competitions in France and Greece, and played two concertos with Uzbekistan Symphonic Orchestra.
Later she moved to the USA and continued her musical journey by accompanying local competitions and teaching music.
She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and is currently working on her student teaching.
She is currently the accompanist for Shepherd of the Sierra Presbyterian Church.

Introducing Mrs. Noreen Barnett!!

Music has always been a very integral part of Noreen's life. She's been singing since the age of 3 and playing piano since she was 6. At age 9 she started playing the flute and was in the marching band in High School. Over the years she has been in many choirs, musical theater and opera productions, and various stage performances. She spent many years leading worship and directing church choirs. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from UC Davis and a Master's in Music from USC, where she sang with the USC Opera. She's been teaching and coaching voice since her time at USC where she was a student teacher.
Noreen's teaching philosophy for all her students is to give them a good foundation of musical skills, language, and understanding so that they can have a lifetime of loving and experiencing all different forms of music.

Specializing in classical, contemporary, and worship music, she has helped students of all ages and skill levels develop a deep understanding and appreciation for music. With a personalized teaching approach, Ms. Nataliia tailors lessons to meet each student's individual goals, fostering both technical proficiency and creative expression.

Introducing Ms. Susan Levine!!

Raised in Roseville, CA, Ms. Susan Levine is an active member of the California music scene. She has conducted and directed ensembles such as the Sacramento Youth Symphony and Sacramento Youth Band, and taught at multiple elementary schools in the Elk Grove and Sacramento areas. She has also done woodwind clinics at the high school level. As a performer, Susan has performed in numerous ensembles across multiple genres, including symphonic/orchestral, musicals, and indie across California. Groups she has shared the stage with included the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, the Bob Cole Conservatory Orchestra and Wind Ensembles, and the Sac State Symphony Orchestra.

Ms. Susan Levine holds a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance and Music Education (double major) from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from California State University, Long Beach as a student of Sandra McPherson and Helen Goode-Castro, respectively. While she maintains a professional career as a clarinetist and woodwind doubler, she also has extensive experience as a pianist and vocalist, and loves to teach the woodwinds for a fun variety! These instruments include: clarinet, saxophone, oboe, and flute.

Mr. Aidan is a drummer with over 10 years of experience. He started taking lessons at CB Music Studios when he was just 10 years old. While he enjoys playing a bit of every instrument, drumming is his true passion, especially in rock and roll.
As a drum teacher, Mr. Aidan focuses on helping students build solid skills while keeping the learning process fun and practical. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve, Mr. Aidan is ready to help you grow as a drummer.
