Maidu Elementary School

This morning, Mustangs said goodbye to their 3rd graders and Ms. Beyer and Mrs. Evans who are both retiring and introduced incoming principal Richard Prestedge at a special Maidu Sings.

What happened at Maidu today?? The county superintendent came to celebrate Mrs Perry as the COUNTY CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!!!! We are so proud of our Aloha Queen Mrs Perry

We have been beyond blessed and so appreciated this week. It was a crazy week with all of the events, so your love was so appreciated. We just are so lucky to teach in such a phenomenal community.
A couple huge thank you a! First Elizabeth Hintz, the mastermind behind teacher appreciation week. You outdid yourself this year!! Breakfast, lunch, delivered treats, flowers, charcuterie boxes, it was endless and she was here each day with teams putting it together!
Kristin Ruiz for putting together Sami’s circuit. It felt so amazing to hear kids tell each other ‘you got this!!’
And Maritza Brown for heading the book fair and the huge work that also is.
And to every volunteer who came to the school to help make this a special week for teachers… we feel the love and we love you all right back!!!

Maidu has the most incredible parents! They spent their Sunday decorating teacher doors to let teachers know how appreciated!! It’s the Maidu Era!!!
