Support Minnesota’s efforts to reduce and end the epidemic of violence against Indigenous peoples. Our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) Office is seeking a director to serve Indigenous communities, strengthen collaboration with key partners including law enforcement and advance work that supports safer, more just outcomes for missing or murdered Indigenous relatives and their families.

Applications will be accepted through Sept. 8.

Player announcement for Indigenous People's Weekend + Native American Food Truck Festival 2026 MMIW/R AWARENESS GAME ❤️ A selection of athletes that represent the game, culture & hoop medicine to play in a spiritual game bringing healing to all Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women/Relatives (MMIW/R) & their families.

Nathaniel Miller is from the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska & played varsity basketball for the Boys Town Basketball program until he graduated in 2022. In high school, Nathanial Miller was a 6' 0" PG, team captain, National Honor Society member, & winner of the Boys Town Father Flanagan Award plus other scholarships. His senior year, he earned Nebraska's all state honorable mention. He is a former Peru State Bobcats commit for both the men's basketball team & the Cross Country team. Last year, Nathaniel participated in the third annual MMIW Awareness Game & looks to win it in his return for the fourth annual game!
