The kids decided they wanted an afternoon quick art session. They wanted to do as much art as possible until they did not want to anymore…so…that’s what we did! Painting with brushes and combs, hand painting, permanent marker and watercolors, and mini floral collages. Not pictured is the giant spin art we started with. They had so much fun and were so proud of each of their creations (as am I!).

Here at LTP, new friends are automatically welcomed into our bunch of littles. They’re immediately part of our family and every single one of our kids are so excited. Today, some of our friends went out to explore at a local park after visiting a very fun story time.

We took a field trip to the Folsom Zoo & Sanctuary today. The littles loved seeing all the animals! We talked about the bees that were happily buzzing around the blooming flowers and the boxes they had nearby for them to make honey. We also enjoyed an exciting train ride before heading back to school. What a fun day!

Bev Bos was a local early childhood educator who changed the ideas of how children should be allowed to play and explore for people all around the world. There is even a park in Roseville dedicated to her honor and life’s work. She and countless other women have been so instrumental in helping to better understand early childhood education. Happy International Women’s Day.
