A championship moment built on preparation, perseverance, and excellence. 🏆

Lamar Consolidated High School’s Brielle Lawson closed out the competition with a championship-winning throw of 157-10, defending her state title and earning back-to-back UIL 5A Girls Discus crowns. Brielle’s performance is a powerful reflection of Lamar CISD’s core values of Excellence, Accountability, and Big Thinking — rising to the moment through hard work, focus, and determination.

Following her historic achievement, Brielle was invited to FOX 26 Houston alongside her family and coach for a special interview spotlighting her incredible season and state title win. She was also recognized during the Fort Bend County Commissioners Court meeting on May 28 with an official proclamation honoring her accomplishment and impact both on and off the field.

Congratulations to Brielle and coaches Tommy Granger and Michelle Cannon on an unforgettable championship run! 🥇👏🏾

In addition, our dental and pharmacy students have benefited from valuable internship opportunities with local practices and pharmacies across Fort Bend County, allowing them to explore career pathways and develop real-world experience. Thank you!
