As a program of the Chamber, Leadership Fort Bend is designed to create an understanding of how the community functions and to increase leadership skills.

The program offers skills training, education and new approaches to the study of regional issues. This provides the community with a pool of talent for participation on boards, employment, volunteerism and project facilitation, while building relationships.

A message from Mayor Moore.

Here in the City of Richmond, we continue to learn to co-exist with COVID-19. Most of our businesses are open, we continue to complete construction work, and residents continue to support local. Richmond’s resilience is robust.
We encourage all our local businesses to apply if they have not for the Fort Bend County Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant if needed. This Grant expanded the eligibility requirements at the end of June and is currently open for application. For more information or to apply, visit https://www.coronavirusfortbend.gov/covid19-small-business-emergency-assistance-grant-program.html. Also know Phase 2 of Fort Bend County’s Rental, Mortgage & Utility Assistance Program opens Monday, July 20th offering assistance for August and September 2020. Find out more about this assistance program here http://coronavirusfortbend.gov/forms-covid19-rental-assistance-program.html #:~:text=The%20%2421.5%20million%20COVID%2D19,portal%20opens%207%2F20%2F2020.

Be safe as we head into the weekend. Wear your mask, practice social distancing, and maintain good hand hygiene. Be strong Richmond.
