1621 Place LCISD's ONLY School of Choice 1621 Place is LCISD’s school of choice. 1621 Place is Lamar CISD’s accelerated education program. Every student - Every day - High Expectations

It is typically for students who are in need of an alternative or more flexible setting to earn their high school diplomas.

1621 offers four unique options for students: Diploma (8am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm) Rebound (1/2 day at 1621 Place & 1/2 day at the high school campus), Senior Success (pilot - virtual only option for Senior credit recovery) and Operation Graduation/Night School (flexible scheduling with support available up to 6:30 pm).

1621 is not a “last chance” program; it is an alternative route to a diploma. All 1621 Teachers are highly qualified, most hold advanced degrees, and each is fully committed to helping students reach their full potential!
