🧈 As part of their science lesson, second grade students explored how cream changes into butter through a fun, hands-on experiment. They observed, shook, and learned about the process of physical change while making their own butter! Students enjoyed a taste test of their homemade butter to celebrate their efforts.

🌻 Our first graders had so much fun learning about The Bad Seed and exploring real sunflowers this week! They enjoyed connecting their story to hands-on learning and discovering how something as simple as a sunflower can teach us about growth, kindness, and making good choices. 💛🌻

🏈🏀⚾ Jersey Day at HCCS! ⚽🏐🏈

We had so much fun celebrating Jersey Day by wearing our favorite team gear! Our students and teachers showed off their team spirit and made it a day full of fun!

We had a lots of “firsts” in first grade today…first spelling test, first building of a tower for a brain break, and completion of our first 100 piece puzzle. It was a great first grade day at HCCS! 💜💜
