Hey, Hawks! Tomorrow evening at 6:30 you will be able to select your INNOVATIVE CLUBS! I am so excited for you! Check out the full list of potential club offerings below!

Advanced Theatre Club
Advanced Theatre Club takes students beyond acting to explore the technical and creative work that brings a production to life. Students can learn about lighting, sound, stage management, set design, scenic construction, prop-making, rigging, and safe stage-combat choreography.

Beauty Within
Beauty Within is a creative club for girls that focuses on recognizing personal strengths and celebrating inner beauty. Students will build confidence and encourage one another through vision boards, positive affirmations, crafts, and meaningful connections.

Board Games Club
Board Games Club gives students opportunities to explore board and card games while learning new strategies. Students can build problem-solving skills, make new friends, practice good sportsmanship, and enjoy a fun break from the regular school routine.

Champions in the Making Athletic Preparation Club
Champions in the Making helps students prepare physically and mentally for future athletic competition. The club focuses on building strength, improving focus, developing athletic skills, and learning how to prepare for future sports.

Cooking Club
Cooking Club is a hands-on space where students can try new recipes and explore different foods. Students will work together to prepare simple meals and snacks while learning basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, creativity, and teamwork.

Create & Motivate Art Club
Students will use their artistic talents to make the school more encouraging, welcoming, and kind. The club will create posters, uplifting messages, and other artwork that promotes positivity, builds school pride, and brightens the school community.

Crochet Club
Crochet Club welcomes both beginners and advanced students who want to create projects and learn new skills. Beginners can learn basic stitches and techniques, while experienced crocheters can complete more challenging projects and share their skills with others.

Curiosity Lab
Curiosity Lab allows students to develop a Genius Hour project based on a topic or idea that interests them. Students may research a mystery, build a prototype, create art or videos, conduct a safe experiment, or develop a solution to a problem.

Design Club
Design Club gives students opportunities to design digitally, engineer ideas, and produce projects they can wear, hold, or share. Students may use Canva, a poster maker, a heat press, construction materials, and bracelet-making supplies to bring their ideas to life.

Garden and Hydroponics Club
Students will work together to create and care for the school garden using garden beds and hydroponics. The club focuses on planting flowers, vegetables, and herbs, attracting pollinators, and exploring the life cycle of plants.

Giant Game Lab
Giant Game Lab gives students a fun space to play oversized games with friends. The club focuses on making the experience active, social, and entertaining through games that are bigger and bolder than usual.

Hawk Tune-Up Club
Hawk Tune-Up provides additional practice and support for students who are currently enrolled in band. Students can improve their skills, receive help from their band director, practice at their own pace, and explore bonus music that challenges them.

Healthy Hawks Fit & Fun Club
Healthy Hawks gives students opportunities to walk, run, stretch, work out, play fitness games, and participate in team challenges. Students can move at their own pace while working toward the club’s finish-line goal of participating in the Lunches of Love 5K.

Karaoke & Vocal Coaching Club
This club gives students opportunities to sing karaoke, write original songs, create music, and strengthen their voices. No previous experience is needed, allowing students to learn, grow, and express their creativity in a supportive environment.

Magic: The Gathering Club
Students will learn how to play Magic: The Gathering Club, build decks, and improve their strategies through friendly matches. The club welcomes beginners and experienced players while providing opportunities for challenges, tournaments, and connecting with other players.

Master Builders Club
Master Builders Club gives students the freedom to use Legos to create cities, animals, inventions, and other original designs. Students can express their creativity, relax, and connect with friends while bringing their ideas to life.

MVP Community Service Club
MVP members will learn about community needs and local organizations throughout LCISD and Fort Bend County. Students will meet community representatives, explore volunteer opportunities, and collaborate on service projects that make a meaningful difference.

Mystery at the Clocktower Club
Students take on special character roles and work together to solve a new mystery during each meeting. The club develops critical thinking, teamwork, communication, creativity, and problem-solving through acting, storytelling, and strategy.

Pet Club
Pet Club helps students learn about pet care, training, healthy habitats, basic needs, and different animal breeds. Students may meet guest speakers and visiting animals while also organizing a community donation drive for pet food, toys, beds, and blankets.

Pokémon Club
Pokémon Club gives students opportunities to explore the Pokémon world, participate in battles, and learn more about the games and characters. The club welcomes trainers of all experience levels and provides a fun place for students to connect with other Pokémon fans.

Random Acts of Kindness Club
This club helps students turn compassion into action through projects that encourage others on campus and throughout the community. Activities may include writing letters to soldiers, supporting local organizations, visiting senior citizens, celebrating staff, and creating kindness-themed projects.

Sewing Club
Sewing Club gives students hands-on experience using sewing tools and machines to create projects. Both beginners and experienced sewers can learn new skills, build confidence, and express their creativity through activities such as patchwork.

Silent Book Club
Students can bring their own book, find a comfortable spot, and enjoy reading without the stress of an assignment. The club provides an uninterrupted period for students to relax and become fully immersed in their favorite stories.

SpiritTok Social Media Club
SpiritTok gives students a creative outlet to promote Hawk pride through school-focused social media content. Students can make an impact by creating stories, infographics, portraits, reels, and other engaging digital projects for Wertheimer Middle School.

STEM: Learning Like an Engineer
This STEM club is designed for students who enjoy solving problems, thinking deeply, and taking on new challenges. Students will use the engineering process to plan, build, test, and improve their ideas as they turn possible solutions into working creations.

WMS Podcast Club
Podcast Club allows students to create student-led shows about school life, current events, and topics that matter to them. Students will rotate through roles such as host, interviewer, reporter, and producer while learning to plan, record, edit, interview, and publish responsibly.

Young Men in the Making
Young Men in the Making is a mentorship club for boys focused on building character and strengthening their minds. Members will discuss and learn about health, sportsmanship, teamwork, conduct, hygiene, personal goals, grooming, and respect.
