Ray Elementary PTO

The Lamar Educational Awards Foundation will host the 2nd Annual “Superintendent of the Day” on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. This year’s raffle winner, second grade Ray Elementary student, Julio Mendoza, has given Dr. Nivens the day off and will embark upon an unforgettable experience as the leader of one of the fastest-growing districts in the state of Texas.

As his first order of business, Superintendent Julio has issued an Executive Order to proclaim Wednesday, April 26 as Dress to Impress Day for the District. All students and staff are highly encouraged to join in on the fun by wearing their best professional attire (bowties, pearls, etc.).

We are so proud of Julio and want to show him support. Students may "Dress to Impress" or wear a blue shirt with uniform bottoms. Fourth graders are encouraged to wear their grade level shirt to help with the celebration. Dress must comply with the LCISD dress code.
