Welcome Home, Alex! Principal Roberson named Alex Becerra Mendoza as the new Principal's Administrative Assistant, replacing longtime Ranger Veronica Chavarria.

Here's a little more about Ms. Becerra:

I am Alex Becerra, a 2002 Terry HS graduate. I began working with Lamar CISD in August 2019 as Admin Assistant to former Ranger AP Derek Johnk and AP Malissa Hernandez. In October 2020, I transitioned into Admin Assistant to Associate Principal Dr. Maria Fondon. In May of 2022, I joined the District Communications Department working with the Director of Communications, Gracie Martinez, and the Director of Community Relations, Dr. Kanesha Waites. Terry HS has been my home since I walked through those doors in July 1998 for Fish Camp. It continues to be in my life as my children are Red Track babies! My daughter is an 8th grader at GJH, and my son is a 2nd grader at Ray Elementary.
